In addition to the more obvious Southeast Asian polities of maritime and mainland Southeast Asia, this database also includes references to the many Yunnan Tai polities which have subsequently been incorporated within the Chinese state. This work identifies all of the references to Southeast Asia contained within the MSL and provides them to readers in English-language translation. Given the annalistic nature of the MSL and the difficulties of searching such a huge corpus, many of these have long remained unknown. These collected texts, which run to close to 40,000 pages of unpunctuated, manuscript Classical Chinese constitute one of the most important primary texts of the Ming dynasty, and contain a wealth of materials unrecorded in other sources.Īmong the unique materials contained within the Ming Shi-lu (MSL) are a wide range of references to polities and societies which today we consider to be parts of "Southeast Asia". Each of the shi-lu comprises an account of one emperor's reign, and was compiled after that emperor's death on the basis of a number of sources created during the reign. But it may have further downside risk," Kuo wrote. "We cut 2Q20 iPhone shipment estimation by 30% to 35–37 million units due to negative impacts from COVID-19. Ultimately, Kuo is not optimistic about iPhone sales in the June quarter, as countries around the world have gone on lockdown to slow the spread of Covid-19, hurting consumer confidence and demand. "The most difficult challenge from COVID-19 for smartphone brands is the negative impact on consumer confidence or purchasing power after the pandemic outbreak, resulting in consumers preferring to choose lower price/spec models or to stop purchasing smartphones," Kuo wrote.

It's the lowest-priced phone in Apple's current lineup, starting at $399 in the United States. The iPhone SE uses a classic iPhone design that was first introduced in 2014, updated with modern chips and cameras.
